Mike Fiorito lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife and two boys. Fiorito is an Associate Editor for Mad Swirl Magazine and a regular contributor to the Red Hook Star Revue. He has written several books so far including Call Me Guido, published by Ovunque Siamo PressFreud’s Haberdashery Habits as well as Hallucinating Huxley, published by Alien Buddha Press, and his newest release, Falling From Trees.

Falling from Trees is a collection of tales in the tradition of Italo Calvino, Jorges Borges, Stanislaw Lem and even Philip K. Dick. And while coming from the speculative tale tradition Falling from Trees strikes out new territory in exploring consciousness, identity and the human condition. More than just embodying ideas, these stories are written with heart and longing. And humor. Some of the tales may have an apocalyptic feel, but hang in there, Falling from Trees, will delight you and restore your hope.

Fiorito had received praise from his work, some including the Kirkus Reviews, the Psychedelic Press Journal, the Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program, as well as several authors and artists. In 2019, Fiorito was nominated for the Pushcart Prize.

Falling From Trees would be Fiorito’s fourth book published, diving into the world of science fiction. Falling From Trees tackles the existential, the fantastical, the abstract and all the questions no one can seem to answer.

Falling From Trees is now available for purchase through our website and several other online sites.
